Process Improvement

Improving Patient Flow and Establishing Peer Governance
United Regional Health Care System- designed and facilitated initiatives in the Surgery Department resulting in first case starts improving from 70% late to 70% on-time; significantly decreased physician to disposition time in the Emergency Department; and developed scheduling rules and physician scorecards in the Cardiology Department thereby engaging cardiologists in the improvement process.
